In the “Tax Rate” menu, you have the option to record and manage your various VAT rates. If your business requires the application of multiple rates, here are a few additional elements to consider:

  1. Professional activity: Depending on the nature of your business (trade, service provision, etc.), the applicable VAT rates may differ. Make sure to be well-informed about the rates corresponding to your sector of activity.
  2. Products and services: The products and services offered by your business may be subject to specific VAT rates. For example, essential goods typically benefit from a reduced rate, while luxury goods may be subject to a higher rate. Inquire about the applicable rates for each category of products or services you offer.

By entering the appropriate VAT rates in the “Tax Rate” menu, you ensure that the inclusive VAT amounts automatically appear on your customers' invoices. This not only facilitates the management of your invoicing but also guarantees compliance with current regulations in your accounting.

If you are not liable for VAT, simply indicate a rate of 0% in the “Tax Rate” menu. This helps avoid the application of tax on issued invoices and ensures accurate accounting for your business.

Take the time to fully understand the rates applicable to your activity and the products or services you offer, and make sure to update them regularly to remain compliant with current legislation.
