You can initialize your Google Search Console account to access your site's SEO statistics on the Google search engine.

The Search Console allows you to easily control, resolve server errors, site loading errors, or security issues like hacking or the presence of malware. The Search Console is a tool that can really boost your SEO.

Create an account

Go to the homepage Google Search Console :

  • Select Domain and enter your domain name.

  • Select your domain name host from the list and follow the instructions.

  • You can then access your statistics (it takes about 24 hours to see them).

Verify ownership with the URL prefix

To add your site on Google Search Console, a verification is required.

The ownership validation consists of proving to the Search Console that you own the site.

When you add your site to the Search Console, you need to add it via “URL prefix”.

Once you have added your site, the verification will begin.

  • You have several verification methods, choose the “HTML tag” method.

  • Copy the tag that is provided to you.

  • Once the link is copied, go to your Vivlab dashboard.

  • In the menu, go to “Settings” then “Marketing plugins”.

  • You have Google Search Console, click on “Configure”.

  • Once here, you just need to paste the link you copied and then save.

The verification occurs instantly.

Bing supports the Search Console by allowing users to simply connect their Google account to Bing.

Provide the site sitemap

The sitemap is the layout of your site. It provides all the information about your pages and their organization. It allows indexing bots to intelligently explore your site and index it correctly.

Your site's sitemap is automatically generated by Vivlab whenever a change is recorded. It can be found at the address https://monnomdedomaine.com/sitemap.xml. You can copy this URL into your Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics plugin editing menu.

  • Go to the Sitemaps tab of the Google Search Console dashboard.

  • Complete the URL of your site's sitemap by adding sitemap.xml and click Submit.

  • In the table that appears, you can see the latest dates of visits by indexing bots on your site and for each page.
