Create products on the online store

Create your online store with ease using Vivlab! Add your products, customize their settings, and showcase them with attractive images.

Your products are items, online downloads, memberships, services, and events that you offer to your customers. The Vivlab platform allows you to easily create and manage your product catalog.

💡 Your online store is created in the E-commerce section; do not create new pages.

Manage the catalog

Go to the Products tab in the E-commerce section. This is where you can create and manage your products. The search bar will allow you to easily find your products using their information.

Edit general settings


Display preferences

By default, your product sheets display the availability of your products.

  • In stock: when stock is greater than 9.

  • Only xx items left: when stock is equal to or less than 9.

  • Out of stock: when stock is depleted.

However, if you wish for this information not to be displayed, you can disable it.


Visible product catalog

Visible product catalog on the homepage: choose whether or not to make your product catalog visible directly on your homepage. This feature is not suitable if you have many products.


Create a product

Click on Create to create a new product.


Edit a product sheet

To edit a product sheet, click on the sheet you wish to modify.

If you want to remove a product sheet from your site, deactivate it using the switch at the top right.


Add images

In the Images section, add up to 8 images of your product. It is recommended that they all follow the same format (square, for example) and do not exceed 300 KB to ensure the best loading performance.


Provide the description

  • In the Product Name section, provide the name of your product.

  • In the Informative Label box, provide information regarding the product, such as New or On Sale.

  • In the Price Label field, provide a price; this will be crossed out when displaying your product.

💡 Be as clear and precise as possible with the information provided. This will help your customers make a decision and facilitate the indexing of your products on your site and search engines.


Add a category, subcategory, and brand

In order to classify your products by category, subcategory, and brand, you must first create them in the Categories tab.

Select from the dropdown lists a category, subcategory, and brand (optional) to classify your product. If you have many, you can search for them by name. These categories will also help filter products in your catalog.


Create custom fields (optional)

If you wish to provide your customers with custom fields so they can enter information that you cannot know in advance (e.g., allergies, measurements, message, etc.), you can create customization fields.

  • Click on + New and enter the field title. You can add up to 5.

  • Activate the Mandatory Fields button if the fields must be completed by the customers.


Add labels (optional)

In the Label section, specify information about the product:

  • Informative: indicate whether it is, for example, a new product, a promotional pack, a favorite, etc.

  • Promotional: indicate a discount by adding the original price in this field. The discount will be automatically calculated based on the product's selling price (see SKU).


Add a downloadable sheet (optional)

You can provide your visitors and customers with a downloadable sheet in addition to the information on the site.

In the Details section, add a sheet, ideally in PDF format. Your customers will be able to download it by clicking on the See Details button.
