Manage the invoice

In the Invoice and Refund section of Stripe, three buttons allow you to manage the invoice.

  • Customer Invoice: directly access the PDF of your customer's invoice, generated by Stripe at the time of the order. You can download it to resend to the customer if necessary.

  • Stripe Dashboard: access the invoice page on your Stripe dashboard. You can add a note, download the receipt, or issue credit notes.

  • Refund via Stripe: access the payment page associated with the invoice on your Stripe dashboard. You can proceed with a direct refund from this page.

View order details

In the Details section, you find the customer's billing information on one hand, and the shipping details, which may be different, on the other hand. This information is also included on the invoice generated by Stripe at the time of purchase.

In the Order Summary section, you find the details of the customer's cart contents, as well as the selected delivery method. Further down, you also find the order subtotal, any discount amount, the total order amount, and finally the VAT amount.

Confirm shipping or pickup

When the customer has chosen to have their order delivered, you will find the shipping tracking information for the order in the section The customer chose delivery. This varies according to the status of the order.

  • To be sent: once your customer's order is shipped, retrieve or generate the parcel tracking link, paste it in the parcel tracking URL field, and click on Send shipping email. The customer then receives the shipping confirmation email for their order, which includes the tracking link for the parcel.

  • Sent: the order has been shipped, so you can, like your customer, consult the parcel tracking link and be informed of its delivery by clicking on View parcel tracking link.

When the customer has chosen to pick up their order, you will find the pickup tracking information for the order in the section The customer chose pickup:

  • To be picked up: confirm the customer's pickup of the order by clicking on Confirm order pickup to keep a record of the pickup.

  • Picked up: you will find the customer's pickup information as well as a confirmation message for the pickup of the order, which includes the date and time the status was changed.
