Until your code is created, click Turn on referrals, an action reserved for accounts with an active subscription. Once the code exists, send it out through the WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn or QR shortcuts. There's even a ready-to-edit sample message to save you time.
The 20% discount applies once only, on the first payment: from the next billing date, your referral pays the normal price.
On a yearly plan, it covers the payment for the whole year, the bigger saving. Reserved for a new account, it can't be combined with a trial or another promotion.
Credit
Credit, not cash
You get 20% of the amount actually paid by your referral, calculated after their own discount, always as credit. It lands on your account with every payment collected (the payment has to go through first) and you keep earning for as long as they stay subscribed.
The credit is deducted automatically from your next Vivlab invoice. If it's more than what you owe, the extra carries over; if it's not enough, the rest is paid as usual. It can also go toward an higher plan.
Your credit stays on your Vivlab account: it can't be transferred to another account or converted into cash. It's only for paying your subscriptions and invoices.
If a referral gets a refund, the matching credit is simply removed from your balance, a clean adjustment that shows up in your history.

Every credit, tracked
Find all the movements your referrals generate: for each one, the amount, a description and the date. Handy for spotting where a credit came from, following the deductions applied to your invoices, or seeing an adjustment after a refund.
The history only shows the date and the plan involved: neither the names nor the contact details of your referrals appear there.

Referrals, made clear
When is my credit paid out?
Only once your referral's payment goes through, then with every new payment collected. Nothing is credited at sign-up.
How long will I keep earning credit?
With every payment your referral makes, for as long as they stay subscribed. The day they cancel, the credit you've already earned is yours to keep, but you stop earning new credit.
Can I cash out my credit?
No. The credit stays on your Vivlab account: it's neither transferable nor convertible into cash, and it's only for paying your subscriptions and invoices.
Can my referral stack the discount?
No. The 20% discount is reserved for a new account and can't be combined with a trial or another promotion. It only applies to the first payment.
What happens if my referral gets a refund?
The credit tied to that payment is removed from your balance. If you'd already used it, the adjustment shows up in your credit history.
How many people can I refer?
As many as you like: your code never expires and each active referral earns you credit independently of the others.
